These days, we all  take fly as if it was something usual and common. But going in the air gives a hard time to our body. Here are a couple of tips to revcover quickly:
  
  • Night fly : take one pill of melatonin. It might help  to sleep and recover. It's also called the "jetlag pill". Jet-lag is the result of long distance travel east/west crossing time zones at a rapid rate. Melatonin iss an hormon and its primary function is as  synchronizer of the biological clock, melatonin may as well exert a powerful anti-oxidant activity. Melatonin is now a popular therapy for jet-lag and disturbances of sleep. Claims are made for improved sex-life, longevity and even lowering of blood pressure.  Still in most countries, it's either illegal to get it under the counter or you can't get it at all.   Up to you to decide !
  
  •  Before the fly : don't dring alcool. Alcool effect are increased in the air and you could feel "heavy". The blood pressure increases on board, even with pressure regulating system during the fly. Eat light before going on board : same effects as alcool. This is especially true if you travel from the USA to Europe or the other way around. Any fly than crosses time zones might lead to your body to be upset.
  • During the fly : sleep  ! It will go faster and will help you anyway to cope with any jetlag. Try to exercise a little during the fly : it will help
  
  • Try to take direct fly : having to change fly is very tiring for the body as you take off and land twice, and the blood pressure doesn't have time to readjust.
  • Book a seat near the emergency exit : not in case of trouble ! But to have more space for your legs during long haul fly. The seat don' t cost more than the seats on the back and in the front, but you will have a better traveling experience. Almost like traveling business class..
  
  •  Fly regular airlines : if you manage well, it won't be much more expensive than a low cost  airlines. The difference is in case of delays : a regular airlines will sort you out faster as they operate more routes. The contract of a low cost airline is to carry you from one point to another : but the time it will take don't really matter...

  •  Don't panic : flying is one of the safest way to travel, much safer than driving your car to the nearest National Liquidators ! In case of a strom during a fly, keep in mind that the ailes of a plane can touch themselves without breaking !
